- Each year, AFHS Project UNIFY participates in a national campaign - ‘Spread the Word to End the Word’ - to promote awareness for members of the special needs community, and to encourage the student body to eliminate the word ‘retarded’ from their vocabulary. This year, we’re asking everyone to pledge to not use the ‘r-word,’ and to treat every individual with disabilities with more respect. The classroom wearing the most BLUE with photographic proof, (send photo to Caroline Brogden) will earn Chick-fil-a for their next homeroom date. Please note that Project Unify has changed its name to the Unified Champions!
