Le Processus
I. PREMIÈRE ÉTAPE:
With your partner, select one of the four Francophone cities/countries and fill out this form.
II. DEUXIÈME ÉTAPE:
To learn more about your country or region, click on this world atlas site. Here you will find your, capital, major cities, and lots of interesting and important information.
III. TROISIÈME ÉTAPE:
Now, begin to collect the data you need. You may want to organize it in a chart or a Google doc. Your weather report must include the following elements:

IV. QUATRIÈME ÉTAPE:
Be sure to write and rehearse your script so that you and your partner have equal speaking parts and will be well prepared to present in class!
V. CINQUIÈME ÉTAPE:
Record your weather forecast. Make sure that your forecast is presented in front of a map and you point to each location that you are speaking about.

- greeting and introduction of each person (Bonjour! Je m'appelle...)
- today's date and the time (Aujourd'hui c'est le....Il est ___heures____ du matin/de l'après-midi/du soir)
- the name of your news channel (you make it up--something original! Think about your location in the world...)
- the 5-day forecast for the capital of your country/region (Voici Paris, la capitale de la France...Aujourd'hui il fait beau. Demain il va faire...; Lundi il va faire...)
- a description of what the weather is like during two other seasons of the year (En automne il fait frais, etc.)
- end your weather report by wishing everyone a good day or night (Bonne journée ou Bonne soirée!)
- at least three photos/images of your country or region
- a map of your country or region, featuring the city's name whose forecasts you are presenting
OPTIONAL/EXTRA POINTS:
- You may enhance your report by including advice on what kind of clothing to wear during the upcoming days (EX: "lundi il faut porter un short et des sandales....On Monday you should wear shorts and sandals.")
- You may also wish to let us know what tourist destinations or activities we could encounter in the cities you are presenting (EX: "À Fort-de-France il faut jouer au golf...In Fort-de-France you should play golf.")
